The Invention of Morel
For me, Adolfo Bioy Casares' "The Invention of Morel" and it's contents could be summarized in seven sentences. In order to dive deeper into the self-reflection I began through my writing, I chose to make the creation of these sentences a labor intensive ritual that would be well documented. It is not my result, but the process that served as my narrative response, and formed a relationship between myself as the designer and the fugitive as the protagonist.

A Race Between Object and Shadow is Infinite.
The Unreal Can Only Judge Us in Our Mind.
Illusion Strengthens Our Perception.
Reality Is Knowledge Incapable of Understanding.
Eternity Only Comes Once a Week.
Repetition is Always There for Us.
Death Comes Unnoticed as Our Disappearance is Realized.

The cover Is created from the overlapping of all of the sentences. After each of the seven section of the books is completed, a new sentence is overlaid, resulting in the cover(which is repeated on the back cover.
